Bitter yet sweet.

So Pasta have been discharging this foul smell black colour liquid frequently, and I decided its time to bring her for a check after I googled for the reasons. She has this infection that explains why. I hope she recovers soon...I always say, dog visit to the vet is super expensive, their fees is thrice the amount I pay for my visit to the doctor. But she's my everything, so I won't take any risk for her health.

was craving for twelve cupcakes, n had a teeny tiff with him in the car in the midst of deciding where to go for lunch. he drove to Bugis and I was like thinking im my head "bring me here for what?!I'm starving and mad, and I want my twelve cupcakes at millenia walk!" Stepped out of the car, held my hands and he seemed like he was bringing me to somewhere. 

There it was, Twelve Cupcakes staring in front of me. They had opened a new shop here, and he found out when he was googling for me.

He said, "where got bf quarrel with u already, still bring you go eat what you want?"

Me: "Who say don't have?!"

Him: Who?!You say la!

Me: You lo.

His frown on his face turned into a sheepish smile.

Was telling him I feel like having oranges because I lack Vitamin C and suffers from very bad sinus, and feeling heaty today. He left the bedroom for quite awhile and came back with cut oranges and home made barley his mum made. Totally surprised he didn't just throw me an orange and expect me to peel myself though. hahaha...

Before you gush at the sweetness, its because he wanted my brownie points to allow him to play mahjong-which he is doing right now. See, the magic of mahjong. I get princess treatment.

one of the days, where I decided to let bf try putting on makeup for me and play makeup artist for a day. I must say, I am impressed by his skills. Was worrying he will give me thick ugly eyebrows when I felt him drawing them furiously. But, he did a better job than me!

Well done bf!Now I now who to look for when I'm lazy to put makeup. haha!

so I was saying, we went for an ice cream workshop at Tom's Palette!Pretty steep price but definitely worth  going for a try. There's even a ice cream buffet for us, where we can try and have almost all the flavours they have til we burst our tummies. I have to say, they have 1 of the best ice creams in the most interesting flavours. 

This is our 1st official cooking done together. =)

so, we had an awesome weekend. how about yours? Its important to find some new activities to do once in awhile with your partner, it helps refresh your routine life. and I'm enjoying myself! =)

We have always been saying that we should get out of our comfort zone and try new food places, but its always "all talk and no actions done". Gwah Gwah.... =P

This Friday night, I decided to take a big step forward and make a difference. After much research, I decided to try out The Garden Slug which was very near his place.

Crunchy juicy succulent shitake mushrooms. We rate it 5 stars out of 5. Thumbs up!

Shared this mixed grill. Lamb loin and steak. Love the mint sauce, and I'm someone whose not a fan of mint.

After dinner, we hopped to Wimbly Lu for some chocolate indulgence. Saw quite many people blogged about this place, so I decided to give it a try. The chocolate was awesome, but the cake would taste better if it were more moist.

His root beer float chocolate cake. He loved it.

And so, its Mothers Day!I brought mum and dad out for dinner yesterday.

Brought them to Dian Xiao Er for dinner. The food was pretty good for the price. Though the Mother's Day Set dinner was pretty steep, but worth the price I paid for. Glad to see them enjoyed it. =)

Mum, I hope that you can have good health, so that I can have more time and chance to keep you company, bring you to more places and let you try better food to make up for the lost times in the past, when I could not afford all these. It may be late, but I hope better late than never, and wish that time can allow me to compensate for my incapability in the past. 

Mum, I'm sorry for the times I raise my voice, and throw tantrum at you. I thank you for knowing that I just wanna be left alone when I'm feeling down, although you always worry and keep checking on me, and I just ask you to leave. But trust me, I appreciate that you are always around to keep me company. Thanks for being my mum, and I hope that you will be my mum in my next life and the many next next life ahead. 

You are the bestest and greatest woman in my life. I love you. =)
